Tenoch Tequila

In 1325, an Aztec leader named Tenoch founded the Mexican city of Tenochtitlan. Tenoch Tequila was named in honor of this great Aztec leader.

The Aztec heritage is reknowned for its excellence and skill in pottery. Tenoch Tequila's bottler and distiller, La Cofradia S.A. has crafted a stylized stoneware bottle reminiscent of the Aztec's ancient pottery.

Tenoch Tequila possesses a silky mouth feel, full character and body. The tequila can be enjoyed from its attractive snifter or mixed to create a fabulous cocktail.

It is distilled from 100% Blue Agave and oak barrel aged.

Did you know that....

Mexican distilleries are assigned a NOM number by the government to identify which products are sold by the same distillery? In that way, consumers can identify various brands from the same manufacturer. Cofradia's NOM is 1137.

Tequila, in general provides spicy, herbaceous, and flowery taste brought about by fermenting the blue agave. Aging through the oak barrel mellows the taste for its exquisite taste. Tenoch is distilled from 100% Blue Agave meaning that no mixto or sugar is added.

To check if tequila is 100% blue agave, a string of bubbles, known as perla should appear and remain on the surface of the liquid when the bottle is shaken, or on the glass after stirring.
